Veena is a law graduate and a management professional from XLRI with more than 18 years of people advisory and business transformation experience in various sectors including manufacturing, Information Technology, Environmental services and Renewable Power sector. As a Human Resource leader, she has driven various strategic initiatives and executed complex projects in core areas of Human Resource Management.She has translated the business vision through various HR interventions and played key role in building employer value proposition. As a proficient and successful HR professional, she has successfully partnered with the Business stakeholders to spearhead and implement effective HR strategies which support the Organization and Business Growth. She has played a key role in Change management and transition of the organization during its growth face to scale up and match the industry requirements.

She is currently Heading Human Resources with Axis Energy Group, a leading sustainable clean energy company with presence across India. She has positioned Axis Energy group in the Great Place to Work list. Along with HR, she also handles Corporate Communication and CSR functions. She has fore fronted Axis energy's CSR program to supportthe social and emotional well-being ofunderserved girl children from rural areas of Telangana., through education. This program has enabled more than 500 girl children at Kasturba Gandhi BalikaVidyalaya (KGBV) schools, run by Govt. of India in Telangana with aholistic education through social-emotional skills.
