Metzen is currently Director, Talent & Rewards for the Volvo Group in India. In his role he provides strategic and operational leadership in the design and implementation of the Talent Management & Rewards function for all the Volvo Group entities in India. He is also a Trainer for some of the Volvo Group's key Leadership programs such as Emerging Leader Program, Diversity & Inclusiveness Leadership and for Developing High Performing Teams. He has prior experience working in a Regional HR role responsible for the APAC region and in a Global HR Role responsible for University Relations and Employer Branding.
He has led key Organizational Change Programs such as Career Development Initiatives; HR Process Integration & Automation, Pay Banding exercise, Job Grades / Titles Restructuring and, Organization Rightsizing measures.
Prior to joining Volvo, he has worked with companies such as Hinduja Global Solutions, DXC Technology and Godrej & Boyce. He has done his Bachelors in Computer Applications and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Madras.
