Professional Experience
A Human Resources professional with 16+ years of experience, having handled the entire gamut of HR Activities - Talent Acquisition, Organisation Development, Performance Management, Competency Management, Compensation, Training & Employee Development. Experience in MNC's in the Software IT Industry, Product Company & now the Manufacturing Company for the past 2.5 Yrs. Was deputed to Germany for 2 Years- 01.04.2006 to 31.03.2008.

Present: Working with Lapp India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore as Vice President : CHRO & CIO., Bangalore, since 07.07.2012. Have been given the additional responsibility of heading the "IT Department" wef 01.01.2015. Member of the "EMT"

Highlights:
  • Assessment Centre' (Management Development Centre): Part of the team to introduce & institutionalize the 'Assessment centre'- Involved in conceptualizing, formulating the Exercises & Co-Moderating the Sessions.
  • Behavioral Trainings: Been a Trainer for "Campus to Corporate", "Performance Review Trainings" & Moderator for "Bosch Values" workshops.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Am responsible for the Compensation & Benefits for the entire Organisation.
  • Employee Development: Employee Development Initiatives for the Organisation, including Performance Appraisals, Potential Identification & Assessment, etc.
  • IDEA Scheme: Successfully developed & introduced the 'Improvement Suggestion Scheme at RBIN.
  • Industrial Relations: Successfully managed the "3 Years Wage Settlement" in a record time without involving 3 rd Party. This was the first of it's kind for the company- Lapp India.
  • International Exposure: Was in Germany for 2 Years- working with a "Multi-Cultural Team", working on a process to introduce the "Competency Management" in Bosch.
  • Handled the 'Employee Satisfaction Survey' & 'Meet the CEO' sessions.
  • LeaD- Leadership Development: Part of the team to implement the 05 modules of the LeaD Programme.
  • Organisation Restructuring: Instrumental in a major "Organisation Resturcturing" exercise in Lapp India, which successfully has lead to almost a transformation of the Organisation.
  • Performance Management: Identifying the 'STAR' performers & dealing with the Under-Performers.
  • Recruitment: Was involved in the Growth of the Organisation by almost 10 times in 4 Years. Associates with diversified background, experience & skills were recruited.

Previous Experience: Have worked with other MNS's: Software AG as the Director & Head of HR for India Operations; Rober Bosch as Manager- C&B (When I left Bosch after 10 yrs of service) & Executive- HR in Simplex Solutions

Significant Achievements
  • Awarded the "HR Leadership Award" in the 6 th Employer Branding Awards in Hyderabad- Dec 2011 & 40 Talented HR Leaders Award" in the "World HRD Congress in Dec' 2012
  • First Prize in the Regionals round in the "National Competition for Young Managers", conducted by AIMA- in 2008 and "1st Runners-up" in the Nationals & Third Prize in the South Zone Regionals of "National management Games" in April' 2009.
  • The Paper on 'Retention of Employees' was selected by IHRD & the same was presented in the IHRD forum in Bangalore.
  • Participated and won prizes in many national level and international level Debates, Elocution & Essay Competitions. The total tally of prizes exceeds 125.
  • Was an Active member of N.S.S and was recommended for Indira Priyadarshini National Youth Award - Attended and organised a total of 10 N.S.S camps, 2 at National level, 4 at State level, 2 at University level and 2 at College level.
  • Director of Community service of Rotract Club, Dharwad, Joint secretary of Rotaract Club, Dharwad (1994-95), Secretary of Rotract Club, Dharwad (1995-96).
